Clinical Professor of Law Don Duquette's last class was April 19, and faculty gathered for a "clapping-out" ceremony in his honor. Duquette, the founder and director of the Child Advocacy Law Clinic, will retire at the end of June after teaching at Michigan Law since 1976.

A clapping-out ceremony for Doug Kahn, the Paul G. Kauper Professor of Law, was held during Kahn's last class on April 20. Kahn, who has taught at Michigan Law since 1964, will retire at the end of the year.

WINTER SEMESTER RECAP  The winter 2016 semester at Michigan Law has been a busy one filled with talks, conferences, and guest speakers too numerous to count. Here, we highlight some of the scholarly and not-so-scholarly activities that made the second half of the year so great.
