This was the fourth MentorJet event held at Michigan Law.

SPEED NETWORKING   The National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ) brought its MentorJet career mentoring program to the Law School on October 22. Judges and lawyers mentored students in 10-minute increments about the legal opportunities available to them when they graduate. This year's MentorJet participants included Lori Buitewig, president of the State Bar of Michigan and an attorney at Nichols, Sacks, Slank, Sendelbach & Buiteweg, PC; the Hon. Joan V. Churchill, '65, a retired judge on the U.S. Immigration Court for Washington D.C./Arlington, Virginia, and past president of NAWJ; Leah Goodman, '05, an attorney at law; Michigan Supreme Court Justice Bridget Mary McCormack; Antoinette Star Porter, '04, a senior employment attorney at DTE Energy; Jaye Quadrozzi, '88, a litigator at Young & Associates; the Hon. Michelle M. Rick, a judge on the 29th Circuit Court; Janet Welch, '88, executive director of the State Bar of Michigan; and Michigan Supreme Court Justice David F. Viviano, '96.
