Poverty Law Society
The purpose of the Poverty Law Society (PLS) is to make ameliorating poverty a Michigan Law priority by: establishing an organized forum for students to learn about inequality, social justice, and poverty law; discussing innovative ways that we as law students and future attorneys can combat systemic poverty; and fostering connections between students and the greater poverty law community, including alumni working in the field, faculty conducting relevant research, other University of Michigan departments and research centers, and the local community. To learn more about the Poverty Law Society, please contact us via e-mail.
