Roy L. Steinheimer, Jr. taught at the University of Michigan Law School, 1950 - 1968.

Professor Steinheimer received his A.B. from the University of Kansas and his J.D. from the University of Michigan. After graduation, Professor Steinheimer practiced law in New York City for ten years. He joined the faculty at the University of Michigan Law School in 1950, teaching in the area of commercial law. During his time at Michigan he co-authored a case book on bills and notes with R.W. Aigler and a case book on banking. He left the law school in 1968 to become Dean of Washington and Lee School of Law.
