Biography
Professor Rubinfeld received his B.A. from Princeton in 1967 and a Ph.D. in economics from M.I.T. in 1972. He joined the faculty of the University of Michigan in 1972 as an Assistant Professor of Economics. In 1977 he became an Associate Professor of Economics and Law at the Law School and was promoted to full Professor in 1982. He taught in the area economics and public policy before taking a faculty position at the University of California, Berkeley in 1983.
