The William A. McClain Scholarship is awarded to a Black student and Cincinnati resident attending any ABA accredited law school who demonstrates leadership potential and dedication to community. All class levels are encouraged to apply. There are three separate scholarship opportunities that students may apply for. Students may apply for one or all three of the offered scholarships.

The Community Foundation of Shelby County administers a $2,000 scholarship for students who are in their final year of law school. Applicants must be from select counties in Ohio (Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Logan, Miami and Shelby). Academic achievement, community involvement and financial need will also be taken into consideration.
