Description: Civil rights lawyer Elizabeth Wang (https://loevy.com/attorneys/elizabeth-wang/), a partner at Loevy & Loevy, will speak about her practice suing police officers and departments -- in particular about Cruz v. Denver (https://clearinghouse.net/detail.php?id=17671), a class action seeking redress for police actions against protesters last summer. She'll be introduced by Professor Margo Schlanger, who will also moderate the conversation.

This session is offered by the Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse, but is open to all.

From 12:50 to 1, Prof. Schlanger will talk to anyone interested about working for the Clearinghouse this summer. Lots more information on Symplicity, but the short version is that you can work (remotely) full- or part-time (and if full-time, you can get SFF funding).

See MLawLive for Zoom link.
