Description: Join Jared Genser ('01), Managing Director of Perseus Strategies, a public interest law firm that focuses on human rights, humanitarian, and corporate social responsibility projects, and learn about Jared's work all around the world to advance human rights and humanitarian efforts through his representation. Before founding Perseus Strategies, Jared was a partner in the government affairs practice of DLA Piper LLP and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. His pro bono clients have included former Czech Republic President Václav Havel and Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Liu Xiaobo, Aung San Suu Kyi, Desmond Tutu, and Elie Wiesel. Come talk with Jared about how he pursued this career path and ways in which you might get involved in international and human rights related issues as you explore your own career interests.
