Location: Second Baptist Church 441 Monroe St, Detroit, MI 48226

Description: Take a tour of one of the oldest and well preserved stops on the Underground Railroad, right here in Michigan, Second Baptist Church. A great opportunity for UMich Law students to learn about Detroit history, abolitionist history in Michigan and Windsor, ON and to visit key landmarks of pre-Civil War America. We will then visit the largest African American Museum in the US, the Charles H. Wright Museum and explore the continuing stories of African Americans in the U.S. It'll be a great event!
Price: $12.00 pp. Includes transportation and entrance to Underground tour and Wright museum.
Date: Saturday, February 22 at 11:30 am - 2:00 pm. Leave Ann Arbor at 10 am.
