Alternative Sources of Help

Occasionally the UIC temporarily closes intake and is not able to take new clients or we aren't able to take your case for full representation.  In those circumstances here is a list of possible alternative sources of representation with your UI claim:

  1. The UIA Employee Advocacy Program: 1-800-638-3994
    The Advocacy Program, in certain types of cases, can provide you with an advocate free of charge to represent you at your Administrative Law Judge hearing.

  2. The Counsel & Advocacy Law Line: 888-783-8190
    The Law Line can assist you with over-the-phone advice as you pursue your claim.

  3. Michigan State Bar Lawyer Referral Service
