SUMMARY:Defendant Troy Scurry was charged with seven counts of sex trafficking of a child and interstate prostitution of a minor, in regard to three female minors. He pled guilty to sex trafficking one of the minors, a female he met when she was 13. Defendant recruited her by promising to buy her clothes, take her to nice restaurants, and give her money. Defendant transported females from Portland, Oregon to Washington, California, New Jersey, and New York for the purpose of commercial sex. Scurry was sentenced to 84 months in prison.
