SUMMARY:Steven C. Albers responded to a Craig's List advertisement offering 11 and 15-year-old girls for sex. The advertisement was run by local Missouri police officers in a sting operation. After Albers arrived at the predetermined location and paid, he was arrested. He forfeited his car and pleaded guilty to attempted commercial exploitation of a child for sex in a plea bargain under which the second charge was dropped. He was sentenced to 180 months in prison, the minimum mandatory sentence, and 120 months supervised release.
