SUMMARY:After running away from the Wichita Children's Home, 15-year-old "L.M." was recruited by Marlin Williams in Wichita, Kansas for prostitution. L.M. agreed to get into the car with Williams to travel to Texas and potentially Atlanta and Louisiana, understanding that these were places where "you travel and ho at." After traveling to Dallas, Texas, Williams requested oral sex from L.M.; L.M. "complied because she felt she had to." Williams instructed L.M. on the price to charge for oral sex and intercourse, gave her eight condoms, and instructed her not to come back until she made at least $400. A Dallas police detective identified L.M., and after questioning, identified her as a runaway out of Wichita. Williams was ultimately charged and convicted of one count of aggravated trafficking.
