SUMMARY:Plaintiff was hired to be a live-in nanny for Defendants two young children.  When she started working, she was forced, in addition, to do all the cooking, cleaning, and washing for the entire household, including Defendant's mother.  Plaintiff was forced to sleep in the same room as the children, so she could provide 24 hour care to the infant.  During the 16 months she lived with Defendants, Plaintiff was locked in the house during the day, threatened with arrest, deprived of her passport, beaten, humiliated and insulted by Defendants.  Defendants also did not allow her to call her family in Bangladesh, nor to receive phone calls.
