Gray, Whitmore

Professor Emeritus of Law

804 Legal Research
Whit Gray began teaching at Michigan in 1960, combining teaching of restitution and contracts with courses about European and Soviet legal systems, and then shifted his focus to courses dealing with the legal systems of Japan and China. He then began our offerings of alternative dispute resolution courses, and eventually came to teach international commercial arbitration. He has also taught regularly these same subjects at Fordham during the past 20 years, and for the past two years has taught U.S. contract law to Chinese students in Jeff Lehman's new Peking School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, China.
