Teresa M. Sebastian is the founder, president, and CEO of The Dominion Asset Group, a firm primarily investing in urban real estate and commercial ventures. Previously, she served as senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer, and secretary for Darden Restaurants, Inc.; vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary for Veyance Technologies, Inc.; senior vice president and general counsel for Information Resources, Inc.; assistant general counsel for DTE Energy Company; senior corporate counsel at CMS Energy; and associate attorney at Sommers Schwartz. Earlier, she was a financial specialist at Michigan Consolidated Gas Co., an account executive at Morgan Stanley, and a market analyst at Bank of America.
Sebastian is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals, National Association of Corporate Directors, and WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation. She is currently a board member of the United Negro College Fund; a trustee of Bethune Cookman University; and a member of U-M's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts Dean's Advisory Council and the Leadership Committee for the School of Organizational Studies.
Sebastian earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the University of North Florida's Coggin College of Business, a JD from Michigan State University College of Law, and a master of laws degree in corporate and finance law from Wayne State University Law School.
