Rashida Douglas is the registrar and director of the Office of Student Records.

Douglas was raised in the Detroit metropolitan area before moving to Oklahoma, where she attended the University of Oklahoma. During her master’s degree, she studied the relationship between leadership and motivation in the workplace.

Douglas has worked in higher education administration for the past 15 years, having held leadership roles with the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas.

Prior to joining Michigan Law, Douglas was director for academic services at the University of Texas School of Law, where she worked closely with law students and faculty, overseeing course scheduling, degree/bar certification, grade reporting, exam administration, registration, and ABA and U.S. News, among other essential academic services.
