A. Paul Victor is a litigation partner in Winston & Strawn's New York office. He& is an internationally known practitioner in antitrust and international cartel enforcement matters. After spending almost three years in the Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, he was an associate at Kirkland, Ellis & Rowe; an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he later became a partner; and a partner at Ballantine/Dewey & LeBoeuf. He joined Winston & Strawn in 2012.
Victor recently served as co-chair of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section's International Task Force and co-chair of the Cartel and Criminal Practice Committee. He also was a member of the Antitrust Section's Long Range Planning Committee, a vice-chair of the section, co-chair of the section’s task force on the ICPAC Report, and twice a member of its council and chair of its International Antitrust Committee. He is currently chair of the section's Public Service Committee. Victor has lectured and written on multiple antitrust/competition law subjects, is chairman of the board of trustees of the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, and has been an adjunct professor of law at Fordham University Law School for 11 years.
He received his JD, with honors, from the University of Michigan Law School.
