Mansour, Sammy

Sammy Mansour is a clinical assistant professor of law in the Legal Practice Program. Before joining the Michigan Law faculty, he was an associate clinical professor of law and director of LLM curriculum at Michigan State University College of Law. He also was a core faculty member of the Muslim Studies Program at Michigan State. He previously served as the director of advanced legal studies and as a C.V. Starr Lecturer at Peking University School of Transnational Law.

Professor Mansour received his bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University and his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center. He served as a law clerk on the District of Columbia Superior Court. Professor Mansour is currently an ex officio member of the Legal Writing Institute's Global Legal Writing Skills Committee and an executive officer with the Association of American Law Schools Section on Graduate Programs for Non-U.S. Lawyers.
