Linda A. Wasserman is the chair of the Trusts and Estates Department at the Detroit-based law firm of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, where she counsels and represents high net-worth individuals and families in estate planning, family wealth and business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Wasserman also represents and advises family offices, art collectors, charitable donors, private foundations, and public charities with a special expertise in planned giving. She is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of estate planning and charitable planning to attorneys, accountants, and charitable organizations. She received both her BA (1977, with high distinction) and her JD (1980, cum laude) from the University of Michigan. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, in both trusts and estates and in tax law.
