Eric Svaan is a faculty member in the Operations Management Department at U-M's Stephen M. Ross School of Business. His research and teaching interests include project management, supply chain operations, lean operations, and strategic operations management. He has taught graduate-level courses at the Ross School of Business since 1991, including Operations Management Core, Project Management, Strategic Management of Operations, Integrated Operations, and Multidisciplinary Action Project. In the undergraduate program, he teaches the Operations Management core course. He also teaches in executive education programs, both open enrollment and customized courses, in his key areas of interest. His work with corporate entities includes projects with Alcoa, Raytheon, Cummins, General Cable, Boeing, Ford, Daimler Chrysler, Colfax, and Lutron.
