Norman C. Ankers is a partner in the Detroit office of Foley & Lardner LLP. He has been a member of the adjunct faculty since 2012, and teaches Conflict of Laws and Electronic and Class Action Discovery. He has practiced business law and tried complex commercial cases for more than 35 years. Professor Ankers became a member of the adjunct faculty of the University of Detroit Mercy Law School in 2005, where he has taught Conflict of Laws, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Evidence, and was named the Outstanding Adjunct Professor for the fall 2006 term. He is the co-author of the multi-volume
Michigan Court Rules Annotated—Evidence (West Publishing Company, 1996). He is a 1976 honors graduate of the University of Michigan and a 1979 honors graduate of Harvard Law School.
