Andrew Doctoroff is a lecturer at the University of Michigan Law School and the principal member of Andrew S. Doctoroff Consulting, LLC.

His organization provides professional services to governmental and private-sector entities undertaking infrastructure and other development projects, particularly those that raise dynamic legal and operational issues. Since March 2013, Doctoroff has overseen Michigan’s participation in the multibillion-dollar Gordie Howe International Bridge project. He has provided services on other major infrastructure projects, including Sidewalk Lab’s Innovation District in Toronto. 

In 2023, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer appointed Doctoroff to the Mackinac Straits Corridor Authority, which oversees the Line 5 tunnel project. Doctoroff published an article on infrastructure oversight in the Wayne Law Review and served on the board of the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority. 

Earlier in his career, Doctoroff was a longtime partner at the Detroit-based law firm Honigman LLP. When in private practice, he specialized in commercial litigation and employment law.
