The Law Quadrangle is situated on a 10-acre tract immediately south of the central University campus. The buildings of the Quadrangle were designed to achieve the maximum of convenience, utility, and beauty.

Six of the sculptured corbels crouching at the main entrances of the Quad wear the facial features of prominent past U of M presidents including James Angell, Harry Hutchins, Marion Burton, Henry Tappan, Erastus Haven, and Henry Frieze.
