Reading Room Restoration A recent $3 million gift from Berkshire Hathaway vice-chairman Charles T. Munger is doing more than just improving the lighting in public areas of Hutchins Hall and the Legal Research Building. It's also helping restore the elaborately carved and decorated ceiling in the Reading Room and making it easier for photographers like U-M's intrepid Lin Jones to get closer to a bright world that was formerly hidden in the gloom 60 feet above most visitors' heads.
