Rising 2Ls and 3Ls are gearing up for Early Interview Week (EIW), which will be held Tuesday through Friday, August 8–11, in the Lawyers Club. During the four-day event, students will have an opportunity to meet with potential employers representing more than 550 offices, which include law firms and government agencies.
“We are excited to welcome employers to campus this week,” said Erin Allett, manager of recruitment programs in Michigan Law’s Office of Career Planning. “With 147 employers representing more than 550 offices from 34 states and five foreign countries, it is bound to be an energizing and engaging week at the Law School.”
Eighty-three percent of 2Ls are participating in EIW, Allett said, and nearly 4,800 interviews have been scheduled this year. Of those conducting interviews, nearly 60 percent are alumni.
