The University of Michigan Law School is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the International Transactions Clinic (ITC). Students in the ITC represent socially responsible investors that want to see their international investments provide both a positive social as well as financial return, such as providers of microfinance services and products that work at the base of the economic pyramid in emerging markets, and multinational corporations and other types of business enterprises that are conducting cross-border transactions under the supervision of the experienced faculty. Applicants should have significant international transactions experience in the area of cross-border finance (such as debt, equity, guarantees, sale/purchase agreements, political/foreign exchange risk mitigants, dispute resolution, etc.), with a particular emphasis on transactions that take place in emerging markets. Working knowledge of another language is helpful as is demonstrable experience mentoring and supervising young attorneys. Experience teaching and supervising students is also a plus. Please send a resume and statement of interest to: Associate Dean Bridget McCormack, University of Michigan Law School, 801 Monroe Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
