SERVICE DAY 2010: Students from around the world fanned out around the region September 2 for Service Day, one of the ways Michigan Law kicks off each academic year. Groups of incoming 1Ls joined faculty, staff, and some returning Michigan Law students to donate a day's labor to various area nonprofits. The work ranged from helping with a project for Habitat for Humanity to shoreline cleanup on Metro Detroit's far eastside. Photographers, including U-M News Service's Jared Wadley, helped capture the action. |
