| MARCH MADNESS To say March was a busy month at Michigan Law is an understatement. At the "Rainmaking 101" event on March 8, distinguished alumni offered strategies for building and maintaining client relationships. The Latino Law Students Association hosted the Juan Luis Tienda Scholarship Banquet on March 12, honoring Latino students and alumni. The Women Law Students Association, in honor of Women's Week, held a student/faculty reception on March 15. On March 19, the Butch Carpenter Scholarship Banquet took place; established by the Black Law Students Alliance, the scholarship recognizes outstanding 1Ls in the BLSA. Reference librarians met with students on March 23 to offer "Tips for Success in Your Summer Job." On March 25, faculty from the Law School and the Ross School of Business presented at the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review's day-long symposium on "Green Technology and Economic Revitalization in Michigan." And on March 31, the "Richard W. Pogue Law Leaders Panel" brought together alumni who are currently SVPs and general counsels for major corporations. |
