| AIKENS COMMONS AND KIRKLAND & ELLIS CAFÉ DEDICATION The Law School dedicated the Robert B. Aikens Commons and the Kirkland & Ellis Café on the weekend of November 18-19, with festivities that also included a reception and dinner, tour of South Hall, and pre-game tailgate. Special guests for Friday night were Commons benefactors Ann and Robert Aikens, '54, their four children, and their families. On hand for Saturday's festivities were Kirkland & Ellis Emeritus Partner Bill Jentes, '56, Sandy Perl, '90, and many of the other Michigan Law equity partners at Kirkland & Ellis whose generosity made the café a reality, as well as their families. |
