COMING BACK, MOVING FORWARD  The Law School held its inaugural African American Alumni Reunion on March 21-23, in conjunction with the 36th annual Alden J. "Butch" Carpenter Memorial Fund Scholarship Banquet. The reunion was produced by an all-alumni volunteer committee and Michigan Law's Black Law Students Alliance. Highlights of the weekend included a conversation with Dean Mark West and a keynote speech from Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr, '83, during the Butch Carpenter banquet.
