Publications Center Information

The Publications Center main office is located at 371 Legal Research, just inside the stacks beside the elevator. Maureen Bishop's office is located in the stacks in the southwest corner. The Publications Center acts as the central business office for all student Journals. Normal business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

All journals have their mailboxes located inside 371 Legal Research, which also serves as their mailing address. The Konica-Minolta scanner/copier inside the office is enabled as a fax machine.

Journal production work for the Publications Center should uniformly be addressed to pubcenter@umich.edu. The editorial asssistants are responsible for converting newly-accepted articles and notes into our draft editing form; converting articles into typeset form when the editing process has completed; and sending the finalized articles to our publisher. Additionally the staff can provide document comparison services for Journal staff members using Workshare Compare.

The Publications Center clerical staff manage subscriptions; assist with tracking submissions; distribute mail; maintain records; and provide general office support.
