Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system to obtain items NOT available at the Law Library or other libraries on campus.
- If you are unsure whether we own an item please consult the Reference Desk or speak with a Reference Librarian.
- Consult our Interlibrary Loan for Cite Checkers handout for more information on how to find books/articles and when to use Interlibrary Loan.
Logging in and Using the on-line ILL system
Your login is based on a combination of your journal name and article name. Both your login and password are the same. Consult your article editor to obtain your password. Passwords and login names are case-sensitive.
- Submit a new request
- Monitor your outstanding requests
- Retrieve electronically delivered articles and book chapters.
Books are delivered directly to the article carrel.
Please check your email regularly. We may need to contact you with questions related to your ILL request. Failure to answer these emails will result in a delay in obtaining your materials.
For more information on using the on-line ILL system, view our tutorial here.
Our staff will scan articles and book chapters for you. Simply use Request Item in our catalog and add your citation information in the request form "Notes" box. Be sure to include:
Article Title, Author and page numbers (start and end pages) for each article you would like scanned.
Chapter Title, Author and page numbers (start and end pages) for each book chapter or portion of a book you would like scanned.
