The reclassification of our collection to Library of Congress call numbers is causing rapid shifts. Many items may have changed location or call numbers since your last visit. Check the online catalog and the colorful sub-level maps (see the green box on this page) to find your materials.
As of October 28, 2009:
- Directories, Roman Law and Selected Cases locations have all been relabelled. Please check the UMich Law Library Catalog for current locations.

Take a look at our Book Move FAQs. There's a lot of information about how this long process will improve the Library. We're going from 26 locations to 14! Most material in the Smith addition will have the SMITH location eventually with Library of Congress call numbers.
