Four Categories of Employees

Students: currently enrolled at UM or other colleges and universities.
Temporary Staff: no openings available now.
Support Staff: permanent full-time positions.
Librarians: most positions require a master’s level degree in library or information science. We are not accepting applications at this time.

Librarians

There is one opening available now for a dual-degree Faculty Services Reference Librarian. Applications due by December 11, 2009 (posted 10/6/09).

Students

Part time positions for students currently enrolled at UM or other colleges and universities. Preference given to UM students.

We accept applications for the current term only. We have jobs for students in all schools and colleges.

Permanent Support Staff

These positions are posted at the University’s Employment Services office, G250 Wolverine Tower, 734-764-6540, http://www.umich.edu/~jobs/ Opens in new window . Our positions are listed with jobs on the Ann Arbor campus, in the “Libraries & Museums” job family. If there are no listings for the Law Library, we have no openings available. When we have openings our jobs are usually posted for about 3 to 4 weeks. Students are not eligible.
