Traveling on I-96 from the East (Detroit area)
- At the junction of I-96, I-275 and M-14, follow M-14 West to Ann Arbor. Continue west on M-14 for about 10 miles, then take exit #3 marked “Downtown Ann Arbor”.
- When you take exit #3 from M-14, you don’t have an option to turn. The exit ramp guides you onto southbound Main Street. Go through downtown Ann Arbor about 9 blocks to William Street. Turn left on William and go east for 6 short blocks to State Street. William ends at State. Turn right on State and go 2 blocks to Monroe St. Turn left.
- The Law School occupies the first block on both sides. The Law Library entrance is on the left, past the main entrance and the loading dock. There is a ramp sidewalk into the Library.
- Parking is limited to meters on nearby streets.
Traveling East or West on I-94 (from the Detroit or Jackson areas)
- Take Ann Arbor exit #177, the State Street exit.
- Go north on State Street about 2.5 miles to Monroe St and turn right. There is a light at Hill.
- The Law School occupies the first block on both sides. The Law Library entrance is on the left, past the main entrance and the loading dock. There is a ramp sidewalk into the Library.
- Parking is limited to meters on nearby streets.
Traveling on U.S. 23 from the North (Brighton area)
- Take exit #45, marked “M-14 West and Downtown Ann Arbor”. When you’re on M-14 West, take exit #3, marked “Downtown Ann Arbor”.
- When you take exit #3 from M-14, you don’t have an option to turn. The exit ramp guides you onto southbound Main Street. Go through downtown Ann Arbor about 9 blocks to William Street. - At the intersection of U.S. 23 and I-94, follow I-94 West. Then take Ann Arbor exit #177, the State Street exit.
