Tours other than those indicated are usually not allowed, to keep the Library quiet for its primary purpose of study and research. For more information, call the Director’s Office, 734-764-9322. Please do not bring groups in without prior permission.

Audio Tours

The Law Library's audio tours are one of the best methods of learning to use the Law Library for new law students, or for anyone who is new to the library. There are two audio tours: the Orientation Tour and the Legal Research Basics Tour.

Instructional Tours

Groups officially connected to the Law School may request a Reference-Librarian conducted instructional tour from Barbara Garavaglia, Law Library Assistant Director, 734-764-9338, bvaccaro@umich.edu. Tours must be arranged well in advance.
