This bibliography of the published works of the University of Michigan Law School faculty is selective: professors and publications must meet the selection criteria listed in the "Persons Included" and "Materials Included" sections. In addition, because the primary purpose of the bibliography is to serve as a record of the intellectual history of the University of Michigan Law School, works written and published when a professor was not a member of the Law School faculty are so noted. Included publications must also be discoverable using the commercial indexes and other sources listed in the section entitled "Research Methodology" or be reported to us by the Law Faculty.
Dates following each name in the bibliography refer to the dates the individual worked at the Law School in an academic position described in the "Persons Included" section.
The database from which the bibliography is produced is updated continuously using a variety of methods, including professor reports of new publications and systematic research. Each publication is examined to ensure accurate citation information.
