Research Assistance

The Faculty Research Service performs academic research in multiple disciplines in support of Law faculty teaching, speaking and publication. Research is conducted by reference librarians and law student research assistants supervised by the Faculty Services Librarian in the Reference and Faculty Services Unit.

Phone Page Document Delivery

The "Phone Page" Service retrieves and delivers primary and secondary law sources, books, articles and other publications from the Law Library, other campus libraries, licensed or free online soruces and via Interlibrary loan and delivers electronic documents to the web.

Special Faculty Purchases (SFP)

Regular Law faculty are eligible for "Special Faculty Purchases" as described in the Law School Faculty Handbook. SFP books are housed in faculty offices as private copies owned by the Law Library. Faculty must obtain the Dean's approval before sending an SFP request to the Law Library for processing.

Questions and approved SFP requests should be sent to Kincaid Brown by Law School mail or email to kcb@umich.edu.
