audio/visual equipment and servicesRequests for A/V assistance should be made at least two days prior to the event. All requests for A/V services and equipment, no matter how simple, must be placed through the online calendar. Advance notice is extremely important, especially it if requires staff to work overtime and weekends. Give as much notice as possible for major events (at least one month for symposia, at least one week for video conferences). Even simple requests must be made at least two working days in advance to ensure availability of equipment and support staff. A list of contact information for all symposia speakers must be sent to email@example.com at least two weeks prior to a symposium so each speaker's A/V needs during the symposium can be determined in advance.Formal, written permission must be obtained prior to an event from any person who will be recorded during the course of the event. Some rooms within the Law School are better equipped than others for certain types of A/V requests. Feel free to consult with A/V staff to help you find the best open room for your event, either via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit them in their office, 1184 South Hall.
