Henry Hamilton Finley

Henry Hamilton Finley, [18]60, died from shock after an operation in Roosevelt hospital, New York City, April 25. He was born in Genesee, N. Y., where his father was a judge. After graduation from the law department of the University, he served in the army of the Potomac. Four months before the close of the Civil War he became lieutenant colonel, and after the war was made colonel. Since leaving the army, Col. Finley practiced law in St. Paul, Minn., Washington, D. C., and New York City. He was a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
