Biography
Ellen Gesmer was a visiting faculty member during the fall semester of 1983 and the winter semester of 1984.

Gesmer, a graduate of Radcliffe and of Yale University Law School, is director of litigation at Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Legal Services in New York City. A former intern at the Center for Law and Social Policy in Washington, D.C., and a summer fellow at the Kennedy Institute of Politics, Gesmer spent the academic year directing students in the Law School's Child Advocacy Clinic.
