Description: Our cities are becoming more connected, enabling a wide range of services, including driverless cars, smart power grids, and faster emergency response time. While the potential benefits are enormous, so are they potential risks to the privacy of citizens. How can we create the cities of the future without ceding control of information about our personal lives to the government? Chris Calabrese, interim Co-CEO at the Center for Democracy & Technology will address ways lawyers and policy makers can shape laws and policies around connected cities that protect our civil liberties while enabling information.
