Description: Join alumni from both the public and private sectors for a panel discussion aimed at providing first-year law students with an introductory sense for the breadth of what “litigation” looks like in practice. Panelists will share their experiences and provide insights into reasons why an attorney might choose litigation as a career path. Panelists include: Chris Burtley ('15) - Associate, Foley & Lardner - Detroit, MI; Stephanie Douglas ('06) - Member, Bush Seyfarth - Troy, MI; Luttrell Levingston ('02) - Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan - Detroit, MI; and Kylee Sunderlin ('13), Former Senior Staff Attorney - Brooklyn Defender Services, Family Defense Practice, New York, NY.
