Description: Hidefusa Iida is a Professor at the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law, where he teaches corporate law and securities regulation. He has written extensively on shareholders’ appraisal rights and the increase in shareholder litigation in Japan after the revision of the Japanese Companies Act in 2006. Join Professor Iida as he takes a law and economics approach to explore the role appraisal remedies have on regulating conflicts arising from mergers.
