Description: This brown bag lunch/webinar will review emerging crimes, such as Internet fraud, child exploitation and “sextortion,” and cyber intrusions using ransomware. It will also explore the use of social media to publicize crimes and promote terrorist organizations, such as ISIS. In addition, we will discuss how investigators and prosecutors use technology to detect crimes through social media, cellular phone data, GPS tracking devices, and email and text messages.
