Description: We have many different ideas of the ideal environment, yet sometimes the law insists that it knows the best answer for everyone. Just as the natural world inspires humility in those who encounter it, we should equally humble about our ability to use the law to make the environments that we want. To discuss, the Federalist Society hosts Professor John Copeland Nagle, the John N. Matthews Professor Law at the University of Notre Dame Law School and an alumnus of the University of Michigan Law School.
