Welcome to the Dual Degree Communities! These pages are designed to help guide current dual degree students through the next few years, and provide information to students that are in the process of deciding whether a dual degree is the right choice for them. If you can't find something here, send an email to the Office of Student Life, or come visit us in 307 Hutchins Hall.Students who are pursuing a dual degree will want to bookmark the Dual Degree Key Checkpoints page and refer to it throughout their dual degree program.
Important FormsThere are several forms listed below that are important to dual degree students. Dual Degree Declaration FormAll current dual degree students must complete this form. Completion of this form lets us know that you are pursuing a dual degree so you can be entered into the system appropriately. This will ease the process of transferring credits between the two degrees, and help us keep track of your progress when you are taking courses in the companion school.Dual/Joint Degree Election FormThis form is for those students who are pursuing a dual degree with a Rackham School of Graduate Studies unit. It is completed during the final semester of the dual degree program. If you are in one of the formalized programs and are unsure if you need to complete this form, check the list below.If you are pursuing an ad hoc dual degree and are unsure if this form applies to your program, please check the Rackham website to see if your department is listed under their programs. You can also send an email to the Office of Student Life for assistance in determining if this form is necessary for your particular dual degree.It is strongly recommended that you speak with the Office of Student Life prior to completing this form; Rackham will return the form even if has been approved by the Law School and the companion program.A sample that shows how to correctly complete this form can be found here.
