Religious Holiday Observance Class Recording Service

It is the policy of the Law School to attempt to minimize the disruption experienced by students when classes meet on their religious holidays. With the assistance of Law School student volunteers, the Student Affairs Office offers a class-recording service for first-year students who will miss classes due to holiday observance.

If you are a first-year student who expects to be absent due to observance of a religious holiday and related travel, and would like to have access to class recordings, please make arrangements with Marilyn Genoa at marilyng@umich.edu, 734.764.0516 or in Room 301 Hutchins Hall.

Upper-class students should arrange to obtain notes through a classmate, or ask a friend to record classes (with the professors' permission) if they will be absent due to observance of a religous holiday.
