I. Current Students and Graduates (1989 to Present)

Transcripts can be ordered in one of three ways:

1. Order online.

Current and many former students with a uniqname and university/Kerberos password can order transcripts online through Wolverine Access. From the Student Business page, choose Order Transcript. This option is not available to those students who need rush service or who last attended prior to Fall 1993.

Online orders with attachments:

When ordering an electronic (PDF) transcript, a student may upload a maximum of nine attachments to be sent along with the transcript. Electronic (PDF) transcript orders can be placed through Wolverine Access. From the Student Business page, choose Student Center, then select Transcript: Order Transcript from the dropdown list. The option to add an attachment appears if you select the Electronic (PDF) Transcript format. There is a 1MB file size limit for each attachment. Caution: please do not upload files that contain private personal information (e.g., Social Security number or credit card information).

2. Send a letter.

Fax or mail a request to the University Registrar's Office. A printable order form is available; a printable rush order form is also available. Please include:

  • Complete student name and handwritten signature
  • Student identification number or Social Security number
  • Dates of attendance at the University and the school/unit of enrollment (e.g. Law School)
  • Degrees awarded
  • Current mailing address and daytime phone number
  • Names and complete addresses of all recipients

Mail or fax a letter to:

Mail, fax, or in person orders with attachments:

For paper transcripts, a student may include an attachment along with a Transcript Order form or a Rush Transcript Order form via mail, via fax, or in person. The attachment should be included with the mailed or faxed order, or brought (with photo identification) to any Student Services site. An Office of the Registrar representative will place the transcript order and ensure that the attachment is included with the delivered transcript.

3. Order in person at a University Student Services location (NOT the Law School Office of Student Records).

For students/alumni who cannot use Wolverine Access, need a transcript quickly, or have transcript attachments, an order can be placed in person at one of the University's Student Services locations -- be sure to bring photo identification.
